Hand finished medium to heavy relic fender Stratocaster with maple neck. Relic tweed spider case and trem.
This is based on a 61’ this lightweight killer has been hand finished from top to toe. Every part relic’d, down to the last screw. Built with the best of components, all fender new and vintage.
Fender Maple neck is a slim C 9.5 radius with vintage profile hand rolled frets That have been leveled, dressed and crowned. Very low profile and super fast action. Hand finished bone nut with the single string tree and relic‘d decal. We added the kluson vintage style tuners with the locking profile (just cos they are so dam good) vintage look but with modern advantages. All relic work has been meticulously done by hand, finished in a light amber nitro and sanded from 400-5000 grit for a satin finish and broken in feel. The dusty end of the fret board has some extreme heavy relic sections illustrating the ”strum” wear that big rhythm players get.
Fender Alder body is lightweight at 7.4 and really does ring like a bell. This is a sublime axe even unplugged it’s so expressive. Cream naturally aged plastics and all the dulling and war wounds all top playing guitars should have.
This is fitted with a rare set up internally. Full late 80’s vintage strat pickups form the very small production run call the delta series. This consists of a blue,silve,blue combo, twin stacked TBX tone with treble bleed cap. It is a beautiful sounding guitar. The blue treble has all the twang but just a softer top end. This guitar really shines on the 2nd 4th positions. Sounds incredible. Real dire straights tones on this one. Loads of headroom clarity, and it just crush’s it overdriven.
Listed as excellent but had to really say with a relic. Plays like new, and looks and sounds great- but plays even better. This thing is low lose and fast. Hard tailed for maximum sustain and with the fret spec and finish with 9-42 slinky’s, it’s effortless to play.
Topped off with an vintage original late 80’s spider tweed and tremelo arm. Grab a stellar fender relic for half the price of a custom shop!
