Here we have a 2020 Gibson Les Paul Modern Lite in the striking factory Gold Mist finish—a clean, tastefully upgraded example of Gibson’s ultra-comfortable, featherweight LP design, loaded with premium parts and killer tone. This one has had a single smoke-free owner since new and has been thoughtfully enhanced with boutique-quality components throughout. It’s an excellent condition player—very close to mint, with just a few small handling marks and light indents.
This is not your average Les Paul. It’s the Modern Lite version—thinner, lighter, and faster—with a fully contoured heel and ultra-sleek satin neck. The weight is insanely comfortable at just 6.8 lbs, but it still retains all the character, punch, and sustain you'd expect from a real LP.
The pickups have been upgraded to DiMarzio DP211NU humbuckers, a matched pair known for their articulate, vintage-voiced clarity with just the right modern edge. Visually, it’s been elevated with a full set of solid rosewood upgrades—custom truss rod cover, pickup rings, control knobs, and scratchplate—all beautifully grained and dark, adding a boutique, high-end touch to the aesthetic. Tuning is rock solid thanks to pearl-button tuning keys, which not only look fantastic but function with precision. The original tuners, plastics, and full case candy are all included in the sale.
The case has been upgraded as well to a clean, lightly used Road Runner hardcase, offering far more protection and security than the original gig bag these shipped with. It’s solid, fits the body perfectly, and travels well.
Set up with 9–42 strings, this guitar plays insanely well—low, fast, and fat. It has that perfect LP response with effortless bends and a ton of resonance. The frets are flawless—just dressed and polished—and the truss rod is fully functional and smooth.

Cosmetically, it’s in excellent shape overall. There are a few small indents and very light polish swirls from gentle handling, but no major dings, no buckle rash, and no repairs or issues. The Gold Mist finish has a soft, metallic glow that looks fantastic under stage or studio lighting—elegant and understated with just the right amount of sheen.
Between the upgraded electronics, rosewood appointments, pearl tuners, and lightweight body, this one has had serious time, money, and thought put into it. If you’re after a Les Paul that’s easy on the shoulder, heavy on tone, and dripping with custom-shop feel, this one’s a no-brainer.
