Here’s a gorgeous and rare offering — a 2015 Gibson Les Paul Classic from the 100th Anniversary line, finished in the stunning and seldom-seen Seafoam Green. This top is a knockout: a beautifully figured flame maple cap with a translucent finish that lets the grain pop through, making for a seriously head-turning guitar. It comes with full case candy included, adding even more value to this already exceptional instrument.
This is a one-owner instrument, purchased new in 2015 and meticulously kept since. It’s in fantastic condition with the exception of two upgrades: the control knobs were upgraded (original knobs are included in the case), and the robot tuners were replaced with Grover tuners (the original robot tuners are also included). It’s housed in a Gibson USA hardshell case, which is not the original but fits the guitar perfectly and keeps it well-protected.
The body is solid mahogany with a carved flame maple top, paired with a slim-taper mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard featuring classic trapezoid inlays. The neck features a 60s slim taper profile for a more modern, thinner feel compared to the 50s rounded neck. The neck thickness at the 1st fret is 0.800" and at the 12th fret is 0.875". The neck is also free from any cracks or repairs—solid and intact.
The pickups are a pair of zebra-coil ’57 Classic and Classic Plus humbuckers, offering a wide tonal palette from warm and creamy neck tones to cutting, articulate bridge sounds. This model features push/pull coil-splitting and phase options, giving you access to single-coil-like textures and out-of-phase tones at the flip of a switch. Hardware includes a Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece, and the 12th fret sports a special 100th Anniversary inlay to commemorate Gibson’s centennial year.
Condition-wise, it’s near mint, showing only very light signs of play wear — the kind of light swirling or faint surface marks you’d expect from gentle home use. There is one tiny 5mm indent at the rear top curve but that's really it. No big dings, dents, or buckle rash. The hardware shows minor dulling, consistent with age, but nothing that detracts from its clean overall presentation. I’d rate it a 9.5/10 for condition.
Tonally, this Les Paul Classic really shines. It’s articulate and snappy in the bridge position, full and round in the neck, and with the coil-splitting engaged, you can easily thin out the mids for more clarity and chime. Whether you’re pushing an amp or playing clean, it’s a versatile, expressive instrument with a ton of personality. The Seafoam Green finish gives it a cool, custom-shop vibe — not something you see every day, and it looks killer under stage lights or in the studio. Set up with 9-42s, she is playing like hot creamy butter—super low, loose, and fast just how we like ‘em!
