Here we have a Glas Customs Strat-style build inspired by the earliest golden-era hardtails — this one a heavy-relic’d, vintage white tone machine with modern edge and vintage soul. It’s part of the GG Fall 2025 “Golden Era” collection and drips with character: relic'd like it lived through every war, yet plays like hot butter. Finished in freeze-checked vintage white nitro with a thin clear topcoat to hold it together — cracked, worn, and vibed-out without ever looking fake. Every detail hand-aged and assembled in Los Angeles.
The body is 60s-spec pine, shaped and contoured to full vintage specs and finished in ultra-thin skin nitro, checked to hell. It’s a hardtail and weighs in at a stunning 7 lbs flat — acoustically resonant, bright, and alive. The CG high-mass hardtail bridge adds sustain and low-end focus, while the neck pocket is glass-tight — one of the tightest fits we’ve had this season. The rear is branded with our Glas Guitars LA logo, and the neck plate is our signature relic’d unit.
The neck is a genuine Fender piece with a heavy-relic rosewood board, rolled edges, and full period-correct aesthetics. It’s shaped to a full-feeling vintage U/C profile with 21 frets and a tight, comfortable taper. There’s gorgeous strum wear at the butt, subtle fade through the back, and a headstock face that wears a vintage-style decal and aged patina like it’s seen 40 years of bar gigs. The nut is hand-shaped, the frets polished and crowned, and the feel is broken-in and alive — fast, smooth, and expressive.
Pickups are Lindy Fralin High Output Strat-style — voiced fatter and darker than vintage, with balanced mids and a pushed top end. They’re wired into Fralin’s factory preloaded Blender harness, which includes:

This setup gives you every classic Strat tone with a few tricks up its sleeve — the ability to blend neck and bridge gives Tele-like tones, while the high-output set delivers bite and body in all five positions.
Parchment plastics throughout and lightly aged knobs match the vibe top to tail. It’s set with 9–42s and plays effortlessly — extremely low, fast, and expressive. The hardtail helps it ring like a piano, and the resonance across the body is instant and tactile.
