Slim D 9.5 radius neck is perfect from top to bottom and has the most amazing light flame and curly maple grain, just look at this thing! Rosewood board is the same with amazing wood grain, frets are near perfect with some faint string crowning in the 1st 3 and have been fully dressed and polished feels better than it did new. Machine heads are perfect and the truss rod and micro tit.
3 piece swamp ash is again incredible, the wood grain is just wonderful, this guitar is not for the faint hearted, it’s a total Les Paul killer 10.2lb in weight and what a thump and sustain this has. If you have never tried the early red silver and blue lace sensors you will never go back to anything else. These things are just sublime. The clean tones are out of this world and they all sound amazing but positions 2 and 4 are just breathtaking. But overdriven… just forget about it. Famed by Billy corgan and used in all his strats from siamise dream to machina, say no more.
Hardware is super clean with only some light wear, not a ding to be found on this thing, got some top layer scratches but you can’t see them really because of the finish. Plastics are great and the logos are still on the pickups! guitars a 9.8/10 for its age. Amazing example. Listed as excellent but it’s mint for its age.
Comes set set up with the original term setter, flat tremolo and plays like a Les Paul. Set with 9-42’a and is Low and super fast. Just cannot say how good this thing is. Feels like a total beast of a strat and boy does it sound good, could be a keeper if it don’t go quick.
Comes with the original case, pop in trem, keys and case candy no more to be said , please don’t let it sit in case for another 30+ years!!
