The body is alder, finished in a gorgeous Charcoal Metallic Frost that shifts under light and looks even better in person. It’s paired with parchment white plastics for a clean, classic aesthetic. This one features a Shawbucker zebra pickup in the bridge for powerful, articulate humbucking tones, and Gen 4 Noiseless single coils in the middle and neck positions—dead quiet, super clear, and full of bite when needed. The five-way switch is wired with a treble bleed circuit and modern tone controls for maximum versatility without sacrificing clarity.
The neck is an absolute standout. It’s beautifully grained maple with a rich, natural finish and a smooth feel that’s slick and fast in-hand. It’s Fender’s modern “C” profile with 22 medium jumbo frets, 9.5" radius, and rolled edges for comfort. The fretwork is flawless and the action is dialed in. We’ve set this one up with a fresh set of 10s—super low, loose, and fast. Locking Fender tuners keep everything rock solid, and the two-point tremolo with a steel block offers excellent tuning stability and resonance. It weighs in at a very comfortable 8.4 lbs and balances perfectly on a strap or seated.
