The neck features a Soft V profile, offering a comfortable and slim feel that’s perfect for both rhythm and lead playing. Neck dimensions are approximately 21.7mm at the 1st fret and 24mm at the 12th fret, with a nut width of 42.5mm. The maple fretboard has a 7.25” radius, giving it that authentic vintage feel. The original frets are near-perfect, recently dressed and polished for silky-smooth playability. The truss rod and tuners function flawlessly, and the neck is clean and pristine—this one plays as good as it looks.
The alder body is finished in Black Polyurethane, which has aged beautifully, retaining a clean and glossy appearance. It weighs in at a balanced 8 lbs, offering great resonance and sustain. The body is in excellent condition, with just a small ding below the bridge (not through the wood) and some light top-layer scratches here and there—hardly noticeable. Super tight neck pocket on this one-and original construction have never been tampered with, making this a rare find for its age. 9/10 for condition for a vintage axe if its age.
