An absolutely box-fresh 2023 Fender American Ultra Precision Bass in Mocha Burst, purchased brand new in May 2024 by a single owner here in Los Angeles for a studio project that never happened. It’s never been used, never left the room, and is still in like-new condition with all the original plastic film on the pickguard and pickups, untouched stickers, and every last piece of factory case candy intact. Includes the original Fender molded hard case, adjustment tools, strap locks, paperwork, and tags—just as it came from the factory.
The finish is Mocha Burst, and it’s a stunner—rich and classy with deep highlights and smooth transitions across the alder body. The neck is a beautifully dark slab of rosewood on a modern D-profile maple neck, with a compound radius fingerboard that moves from 10” to 14” for fast, effortless playability. The frets are medium jumbo, polished to a mirror shine and completely untouched. It’s equipped with Fender’s HiMass Vintage bridge for enhanced sustain and resonance, and the factory Ultra Noiseless P/J pickup system offers incredible tonal flexibility—from deep, punchy lows to crisp, articulate top-end with no hum.
Under the hood, the active/passive switch gives you the best of both worlds. The 18v preamp includes a three-band EQ with cut and boost, so you can dial in everything from vintage warmth to modern snap with ease. Controls include master volume, pickup blend, treble, mid, and bass, plus the passive tone control that’s active in both modes. Whether you’re recording, gigging, or just looking for a one-bass solution, the Ultra P does it all.
The neck features a modern D profile with rolled fretboard edges and a silky satin finish on the back. Scale length is 34”, nut width is 1.625”, and the neck thickness measures approximately .820” at the first fret and .870” at the 12th. The rosewood board is dark, tight-grained, and feels exceptional under the fingers. The frets are perfectly crowned, the nut is cut clean, and the action is set up low and buzz-free with fresh 45–105s. It plays super low, fast, and effortlessly—responsive and smooth with every note. It’s lightweight at just 9 lbs even—comfortable on long sessions, whether you’re standing or seated—and balances beautifully.
