Here we have a 2015 Fender American Standard Stratocaster finished in classic 3-Tone Sunburst over an alder body. This guitar is a true case queen – purchased new by its one smoke-free owner and used only lightly in its lifetime. It still has all of its original stickers intact, including the protective film on the pickguard and back plate, and comes with full case candy, making it an exceptional example of this era.
The body is classic Fender alder, finished in deep gloss 3-Tone Sunburst with beautiful grain beneath. It’s paired with a maple neck and a nice dark rosewood fingerboard, offering that perfect blend of snap, warmth, and smooth playability. The neck features Fender’s modern C profile, measuring approximately .820 inches at the first fret and .870 inches at the twelfth fret, with a comfortable 9.5 inch radius and a nut width of 1.685 inches. The frets are pristine with zero wear, and the truss rod is fully functional with smooth adjustment.
This model comes factory loaded with Fender Custom Shop Fat ‘50s pickups, giving it an exceptionally rich and authentic vintage voice. The Fat ‘50s set is known for its fuller low end, slightly scooped mids, and sweet, singing highs – the perfect combination for everything from classic Strat chime to fat blues leads. Acoustically, this guitar rings out beautifully with great sustain and natural resonance – you can hear the lively alder body and tight neck pocket working together before even plugging in. Electronics are untouched and include the standard 5-way selector, master volume, and two tone controls for versatile tonal shaping.
Hardware is original throughout and in excellent condition. The guitar is set up with 10 gauge strings and a fully floating tremolo system for classic Strat vibrato feel, smooth response, and stable tuning. The tremolo arm is included in the case candy kit. Weight comes in at a comfortable 8 lbs even, perfectly balanced whether you’re standing for long sets or sitting for recording sessions.
Cosmetically, this guitar is extremely clean overall, with only light evidence of handling. There may be some faint top layer surface scratches under close inspection, and there is a small indent approximately 5mm in size just below the bridge – it’s hard to even notice but noted here for full transparency. The finish retains its deep gloss and looks fantastic under stage or studio lights.
It comes with an upgraded Fender vintage-style black tolex hard case in mint condition and includes all original case candy, tags, manuals, trem arm, and a Fender branded strap.
This Strat plays and sounds every bit as good as it looks. The combination of its lively alder body, nice dark rosewood board, and the Custom Shop Fat ‘50s pickups delivers everything from glassy clean tones to warm, bluesy breakup with ease. It has a wonderfully responsive, resonant acoustic chime that lets you feel every note ring through the neck and body. It’s set up with low action and a smooth, fast-playing neck – ready to handle anything from studio sessions to stage work the moment it arrives.
