Last of the ash HSS American strat in the wonderful sienna burst with TSA case and trem, one owner from new lovely axe.
Modern C 9.5 radius neck has a lovely dark board. Tight neck pocket and has just had a full fret dress and polish. Has some string crowning on 1-8 but lots of life left in ‘‘em. Head stock has the obligatory nicks and dings as they do but nothing wild. Rear of the neck as some indents pepped around but nothing that can really be felt while shedding. Plays real well this one. Low and fast. Truss rod tuners and micro tilt are spot on.
The 2 price Ash body is incredible. Weighs 8.6 and feels amazing. Total les Paul killer this one. The top is lush with some amazing vertical grain lines and the back is almost a curly maple. Looks incredible and even better in person. Super cool combo of the parchment white and cream pickups etc and the hardware is clean throughout.
Tops clean with scratches throughout but no big dings. There is a little 5mm chop near the bottom horn. The rear is the same with the usual little dimples and whatnot. The only thing to note is a 2cm ding on the rear cube near the top horn and another little 10mm one beside it. Nothing to the wood. been played and used but not abused. It’s a 8.2-10 for me it’s age. Looks rad and sounds superb.
Set up with 9-42 slinky’s, a fully floating 3 spring trem and it plays like butter. Super sustain and rings like a bell acoustically. these early one are way better than the new pros. just our opinion though. Super cool HSS all round !
Comes with a fender TSA case. works great but has a crack around the bottom latch. Does not effect it at all -works great.
As with all our axes, its striped and fully rebuilt and authenticated. This sweet axe is set up from top to bottom with a 3 spring floating tremelo and 9-42's and is ready for its new owner, ready to rip straight out the box.
