Heavy relic work through to the gold metallic, right to the wood. Every metal piece to the last screw has been relic’d with attention to detail, inside and out, finished with a 3 ply parchment guard\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eBest of the best components used, with the axe sporting full vintage wiring but with modern grounding. This thing sounds unbelievable. Set with a double stacked delta tone CTS system with treble bleed. One area of poetic license has been applied to the bridge, using a modern ash tray fender for true modern functionality and playability, but with compensated vintage brass barrel saddles for that classic look and feel and tone. \u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eModern 9.5 radius C maple neck has hand rolled med jumbo frets that have been low profiled for a fretless feel with modern functionality. The satin nitro finish is taken from 400-3000 grit sanding and feels superb. The electronics are the best you can find, CTS 250 audio taper pots, 3 way Fender blade switch, full vintage wiring with a 0.22uf orange drop cap. Vintage 90's US standard Hot rod edition in the bridge and the truly sublime Arcane '42 experience' neck pickup. If you are not aware of these incredible pickup makers please check them out- this pickup is everything you always wanted from you Tele neck pick up- it delivers the same response as a vintage strat neck pick up, but in the classic telecaster shape and form. These guys are as boutique as they come, everything wound completely by hand and to full vintage specs, all based here in LA. Both on there own sound killer but, the middle position has an almost peter green tonality to it wired out of phase, its really quite unique a sound. Has some string crowning but plenty of life still left in them for sure. Guitars plays a true fretless wonder and packs some incredible punch, super sustain and rich clean tones, and effortless to play. The headstock has had a professional crack repair may moons ago, this was not a full separation and its a solid as a rock. As they say they sound better with the repair and this one is no exception. Headstock has the logo were as they do, and there are nicks and scratches throughout. And is pretty clean for its age- has a lovely natural aging on the plastics and binding and really feels and looks like a vintage LPS. The top is clean with a few little indents here and there and the rear has some buckle rash. The thing we love about the holy burst models is the brown mahogany looks so good as apposed to the normal red rears. Again this is an incredible Les Paul with super mojo and all the magic you need! Hardware is clean with some light marks. Set up with a flat floating 3 spring term and plays wonderfully well. Its a effortless axe, and is super low and lose. Its a 8.8\/10 for condition, just been used but not abused. Love these metallic and the early 90's starts were rad, really nice clean pickup tones, loads of headroom and a more classic fender tone to our ears. I would say Mint TBH. Has one little dulling spot like the headstock at the rear that around 5mm in diameter looks like its from the factory. Aside for this the hardware is clean and has some slight marks from playing. Great weight at 9.8lb on this one, not to light but not to heavy. This things screams as it has a 490 T added in the bridge and its hot.
